Heading to the northern part of the island we will pass the wilderness of Möðrudalur valley before making our first stop for the day at Dettifoss waterfall, Europe's most powerful waterfall. After some exploration of this beautiful phenomenon we will make our way to Lake Mývatn area where you will get the chance to experience the magnificent landscape around the lake and snap some photos of its surroundings. Among Lake Mývatns highlights are Námaskarð, Hverfjall crater and Dimmuborgir lava field. We'll make a stop at Mývatn Nature Baths, where you have the opportunity to bath in the hot spring pools. The entrance fee can be added when booking or paid on site. For those that don't wish to go in the water, they can stroll around the area and enjoy the views or sit down in the cafeteria.
Our last stop for the day before making our way to Eyjafjörður where we'll find our accommodation near Akureyri will be at Goðafoss waterfall.
